The Culture & Progress Podcast is a new project started by myself and Patricia Patnode. The focus of the podcast will be on the many cultural shifts taking place in America in the early 21st century, including what that means for the economy and American life more generally. The podcast is being published by the Independent Women’s Forum, where Patricia is a junior fellow.
Our current plan is to do about one interview a month, but that could change over time. We’ve done two interviews so far, the first with Professor Bryan Caplan of George Mason University, where we discussed his recent book “Don’t Be A Feminist: Essays on Genuine Justice.”
Our most recent interview was with Lisa Thompson, Vice President of Research and Education for the National Center on Sexual Exploitation. She came on the show to discuss the recent scandal involving an advertisement campaign from fashion company Balenciaga.
Videos of our conversations are available at the above links. For convenience, the audio from the Lisa Thompson interview is available on this webpage, and the audio from the Bryan Caplan interview can be found here.
Please stay tuned for more content in 2023!
